Mary R. Martinez, 76, a resident of Los Lunas, NM passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2011. Mrs. Martinez is survived by her children, Estefanita Garcia and husband, Louis, Carol Wylie and husband, Anthony, Rachel Garcia and husband, Manny, Darlene Martinez and fiance, Phillip Muniz, Frank Martinez, Jr. and wife, Imelda, Felipe Martinez and Elizabeth Aguilar, and Julie Martinez; sisters, Mickey Herrera and Mae Garcia; brother, Fernando Rael and wife, Edwina; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; many nieces, nephews, and many other extended family members. Mrs. Martinez was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Martinez; granddaughter, Tracy Fernandez; and parents, Fidel and Juanita Rael. Visitation will be from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 7, 2011, in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., Jimmy Rael, reciter. Final visitation will be from 7:45 a.m. until 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 9502 4th St. NW. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Reaves, Danyol Garcia, Albert Duran, Dominic Martinez, Matthew Wylie, and Robert Vigil.
