Obituary for HUDGENS

Frank Hudgens, age 80 and a resident of Los Lunas since 1958, went to be with the Lord, his Maker, on Thursday, March 3, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Ethel Hudgens. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dorothy; one daughter, Rebecca Langin; one son, James Randall Hudgens and wife, Tena; grandchildren, Jamie Hudgens, Holly Hudgens, Shealyn Hudgens, Brandon Hudgens, Heather Klintworth and husband Nathan, and Kathy Langin; one great granddaughter, Evelyn Langin; one sister, Anna Faye Hudgens; two brothers, Dervin Hudgens and wife Wanda and Tom Hudgens and wife Carla from Denton, Texas. He was in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict. He received an Honor Reward for Superior Service and an Honor Reward for Meritorious Service from the United States Department of the Interior and retired from the Bureau of Indian Affairs after thirty years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Los Lunas, an adult Sunday school teacher, a deacon and a member of the Gideons International. He loved his Lord and was a faithful servant. Services will be at the First Baptist Church of Los Lunas, 914 S. Los Lentes Road SE, Los Lunas, NM on Wednesday, March 9. The viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the services to follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
