Richard D. Bigham, 77, passed away on March 3, 2011 in Rio Rancho, NM. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Veva A. Bigham of Rio Rancho; son, Michael W. Bigham of Yuma, AZ; daughter, Marcia J. Fritchen of Rio Rancho; grandchildren Heather M. Bigham, Christopher M. Fritchen, Sarah Bricarello and Cody A. Fritchen; great-grandchildren, Adian and Aaron Bricarello; sisters, Louise Satterfield of Somerset, OH, Patricia Haught of Zanesville, OH and Marlene Metcalf of Ironton, OH. Mr. Bigham was a Korean and Vietnam veteran having service in the US Air Force. He was a member of Mesa Baptist Church in Rio Rancho. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at French - Westside Location, 9300 Golf Course Rd NW. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday at Mesa Baptist Church, 1411 Golf Course RD, Rio Rancho, NM with Pastor Jeff Carr officiating. Interment with full military honors will take place at 3:00 PM at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
