Katryn (Kate) Michelle Bennett born on May 26, 1963 passed away at home on February 14, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her children, family and close friends. Kate was a bright, creative, unique individual who was memorable to all who knew her. She was a loving mother, survived by her children; Adeo, Sage, Athan and Ellis. She is also survived by her sister; Alice Parker and her husband Keith, their children Shasta and Tanner. Kate celebrated life in her last years, she especially enjoyed being a museum docent and being together with her children. Kate wanted to be remembered thus: "I have loved and been loved and been better for it." A rosary will be said on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 6:30 p.m., at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 1837 Alvarado Dr., NE and the Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross, 126 S.
