Helen, 92, a resident of Albuquerque since 2006, originally of Waterbury, CT passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2011. Helen was born in Yonkers, NY March 29, 1918. She is survived by her brother Pete C. Morris and wife Irene of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Georgia Morris; sisters Mary Stiles, Angeline Laskas, Christine Morris; and brother Jimmy Morris. She was an avid reader of Plato, Socrates, Homer and Aristotle. She owned and operated a restaurant in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and sang in her church choir.
