- Leroy Joseph Santillanes, 54, went to be with our Lord on January 19. Mr. Santillanes was preceded in death by grandparents: Jesus & Mary Mena; uncles: Leroy Robert (Huerro) and Tony Ortega and aunt Rosemary Sanchez. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Louise, son Mathew Chavez; daughter Lizzette Gardina; grandchildren: Jesse Chavez & Jazmin Martinez; mother, Pauline Tita Diaz; brothers: Jacob & Marcos Diaz, and Andrew & Bobo Madrid; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends; and special pets Sugar & Mia. He will be greatly missed. A visitation will be Friday, January 28, 2011 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. and the Life Celebration Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Reflection of Life Chapel (Washington and Cutler NE). Burial following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers are Richard Lucero, Marcos Anthony Diaz, Jacob P. Diaz, Tommy Gallegos, Michael BoBo Madrid and Andrew Madrid.
