Richard M. Goheen, 79, a resident of Los Lunas since the 1950's, died Sunday, January 9, 2011. He is survived by his sons, Richard T. and wife, Sue, of Albuquerque and John A., of Redlands, CA; grandchildren, Richard, Hailey, and Amanda; and sister, Elizabeth of Frisco, TX; He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict. Over his life he acquired and maintained engineering degrees in mechanical, physical and professional engineering, in several states. He recently attended his 50 year graduation from the UNM Engineering Department. He enjoyed golfing, skiing, and maintaining the farm. Richard always said "It was a hell of a ride, no regrets". A visitation will be held 2:00 - 3:00 p.m., with services to follow Friday, January 14, 2011, 3:00 p.m., at French - Lomas Chapel, with Pastor Perry Floyd officiating, with a reception to follow.
