SAMIA HINDI crossed her final finish line November 29, 2010. Preceded on the path she will reunite with husband Harry David Doro; sister Hafiza Gallegos; brother Ednen; and parents Clarita Duran and Alex Hindi. Born Aug. 29, 1919, in Duran, NM, Samia was often a gold medalist in Nat. Sr. Olympics track events and Duke City Marathons. Into her 70's she taught women's bodybuilding and exercise classes. Almost daily she took her beloved dogs for long runs. She had a thriving masseuse practice. Samia was a devout student of Truth and follower of the Christian Institute of Spiritual Science. She was the best nurse and often took family and friends into her home for care. She is survived by son David (Karen), brothers Brahaim, Sam, Shafie, and Nabay; and many family and friends who admired and loved her dearly.
