Daniel Eric Booker, "Eric", born April 5, 1954 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, passed away at home on Thursday, December 30, 2010. He will be remembered as a family-oriented man who thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his beloved family. He loved the outdoors and was very adventurous. Eric was a NM State Parks Law Enforcement Officer and Boating Officer for 15 years. In years past, he enjoyed cattle ranching and caretaking of ranches in Northern New Mexico. He loved the mountains, camping on the Pecos River. There are many fond memories of times spent there with him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Martha Booker. He is survived by one son, Cameron of Albuquerque, NM; former wife, Lorraine Rader; and siblings, Rachael Eaton of Rio Rancho, NM, Bryan Booker and wife, Letha, of Southern California, and Bruce Booker of Rio Rancho; beloved nieces and nephews, Cheryl, Alicia, Jessalyn, Ryan, Cassandra, Ruben, and Nevaeh; as well as many dear friends and other relatives who loved and will miss him.
