Lawrence Collins Jr, 1942 - 2010, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Albuquerque on Wednesday morning. He was the son of Lawrence Sr. and Virginia Collins and grew up in Atlanta. He joined the US Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. Later he worked for the City of Atlanta Parks and Recreation Dept. for many years. For the last five years he resided in Albuquerque and is survived by his brother, Thomson Collins. He was a unique individual and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
