Mary Ann Domenici Stratman, a lifetime resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2010. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Stratman; her parents, Cherubino "Choppo" and Alda (Vichi) Domenici and her sister, Karlene Guillon. She is survived by Thelma Domenici, Sister Marianella Domenici S. C., former U. S. Senator Pete and wife Nancy Domenici and Rose Ann and husband Martin Hamberger. She graduated from St. Vincent Academy in 1947. Mary worked in the Albuquerque area for more than 50 years. Upon her retirement, she began her most rewarding career working at St. Mary's School. Her lifetime desire was fulfilled by being daughter, sister, wife and aunt. Being a beloved Aunt was the hallmark of her life as she was "AUNT MARY" to ten nieces and nephews and 17 grand nieces and nephews. The rosary will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 619 Copper Avenue, NW, at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 28, 2010. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Church, 619 Copper Avenue, NW, on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
