Obituary for OGILVIE

Walter R. Ogilvie, 86 year old WWII Veteran, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, December 23, 2010. He is survived by his wife Judy; and his children Norma Tolle and husband Jim, W.R. Ogilvie and wife Jessie, Betty Repka and husband Robert, Daniel Rhea and Vicki Ogilvie, Marie Hall-Beall and husband C.G.; grandchildren Tammy Parker, Bruce Rhoden and wife Alicia, Brett Rhoden and wife Amanda, Heather Gruenenfelder and husband Daniel, Orion Repka, Amber Wise, Caitlin Dufrense, Ashlie and Amber Beall; great-grandchildren Bryce (Malachi) Parker, Tanea Parker, Jonathan Jaramillo, Jayden Jones, Blaze Rhoden, Dayzee Rhoden, Kaysen Rhoden, Kyla Rhoden, Starla, Piper and Rhys Repka and Quentin Repka. Walter loved all of them. Born and raised in Estaincia, NM, Walt volunteered for WWII and he proudly served in the United States Army. After returning home he worked at LANL, ACF, and finally after many years he retired from General Electric. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 49. Funeral services will be December 28, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., at French ~Lomas. Pallbearers will be Daniel, Robert, Bobby, Tanea, Tammy and Vicki. Following the service, Walt will take a ride through the small towns he grew up near and will be buried in Estancia with his mom Myrtle, daddy Walter, brother Leonard and grandson Walt Robert. Friends may visit Monday 4:00 - 7:00 p.m., at French~Lomas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to the Animal Humane Association, 618 Virginia St SE, Albuquerque, 87108 or the Animal Shelter of your choice in Walters Ogilvie's name.
