Donna Mary Shelby St. Vrain was born March 1, 1947 in St. Louis, MO. She passed away peacefully in her home in Reno, NV on November 24, 2010. She graduated from St. Elizabeth's Academy in St. Louis in 1965 and completed her AA degree in dental hygiene from Forest Park Community College in 1971. She was on the Dean's List. She worked as a Registered Dental Hygienist in St. Louis, MO, Albuquerque, NM, and Reno, NV, caring for thousands who have better, healthier lives because of her. Her passions were: the West, skiing, fishing, and hiking. She loved to travel, ride her bike, spend time with friends and family and laugh a lot. She leaves behind her beloved life partner of 15 years, Louise Odegaard of Reno, NV; her wonderful son Jason St. Vrain (Gina) of Washington, MO; parents, Richard and Marion Shelby of High Ridge, MO; beloved sister Holly (John) Hesemann of St. Louis, MO; dear brothers, Mark (Sandy) Shelby of Dittmer, MO and Rick (Gloria) Shelby of High Ridge, MO; sisters-in-law, Judy (Steve) Heslop of Pequot Lakes, MN and Susan (Terry) Schmidt of St. Cloud, MN; brother-in-law John (Barbara) Odegaard of Colorado Springs, CO. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews: Tracey, Kelly, Paul, Beth, Erin, John, Tim, Jennifer, Katie, Jackie, Katherine, Adam and Lauren; and great nieces and nephews: R.J., Madelyn, Makenzie, Will, Rachel, Daniel, Macy, Tyler, Jack, Madeline, and Emily; and hundreds of friends who will miss her dearly. A memorial service with family and friends is scheduled for spring in St. Louis.
