William "Will" Cox Platero, age 42, died December 9, 2010 in Albuquerque, NM. He was lifelong resident of Canoncito, NM. He is survived by his mother Daloris McThias; and step father Luke; one daughter Desiree Chavez; three brothers, Savelle McThias, Sven McThias and Billy Platero Jr.; four sisters, Loretta Platero, Gwendolyn Platero, Charlotte Platero and Yvette Platero. A Visitation will held Tuesday December 21, 2010 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., at the Salazar & Sons Mortuary. A funeral service will be held Wednesday December 22, 2010 at 10:30 a.m., at the Salazar & Sons Mortuary with Pastor Joe Romero officiating. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Kyle Platero, Lyle Platero, Sven McThias, Clarence Platero, Jose Platero, Michael Chavez and Harison Thompton.
