Jose Ignacio Saavedra died in Albuquerque on December 16, 2010. He was born in Tokay, New Mexico on April 7, 1924 to Nepumucena Gabaldon and Jose Saavedra. He is survived by his sisters Vidal Romero, Telesfora Rios, and Frances LaBella. He was preceded in death by his brothers Estevan, Antonio, and Louis. Jose Ignacio worked in a variety of trades during his life and served in the US Army as an electrician and a welder. Services are pending.
