Estanislada (Lala) Dimas Baca, a long time resident of Albuquerque, passed away December 16, 2010 after a long illness. She was born in LaBajada, New Mexico November 21, 1916. Her husband David T. Baca preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister Dorothy Esquibel; three daughters, Regina Chavez and her husband Joe, Elizabeth Serna and her husband Morris and Nancy Encee; one son David E. Baca and his wife Arlene; ten grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Lala was a member of the Blue Army and a Parishioner of Saint Ann's Catholic Church. She was also employed at the Catholic Center for a number of years. Visitation will be Monday, December 20, 2010 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., at the Salazar and Sons Mortuary. The Rosary will be held Monday, December 20, 2010 at 7:00 p.m., at the St. Ann's Catholic Church, 1400 Arnal SW. The Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 9:00 a.m., at the St. Ann's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Chavez, Edward Martinez Sr., Mark Mares, Jude Chavez, Ronald Chavez and George Baca.
