Fred B. Key, age 94, of Albuquerque, died in his home, Thursday, December 16, 2010. He was a resident of New Mexico since 1950. Fred is survived by Doris, his beloved wife of 68 years; daughter, Diana Stewart and husband Chet of Albuquerque; son, Dr. Scott Key and wife Dr. Mary Key of Riverside, CA; brother, Robert Key of California; grandchildren, Rich, Bill, and Rob Stewart, Jonathan, Jordan, and Emily Key; 6 great-grandchildren. He was a long-time employee of the US Corps of Engineers and the Bureau of Indian Affairs, but his passions were photography and teaching. Fred served as a deacon and teacher for many years at Albuquerque's First Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held Monday, December 20, 2010 at 2:30 p.m., at French - Westside, with entombment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
