Eloisa Esquibel was born in Rio Lucio, NM on 10/7/1924 to Apolinar and Macedonia Rodriguez; she died peacefully at home on 12/4/2010 in Albuquerque, NM. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Gregorio; and grandson Andrew. Surviving children include Susie Trujillo (Joe S.), Sadie Hawkins (Tom), Michael Esquibel (Estella), Juan Esquibel (Evelyn), and Priscilla Sais (Valentin); She is survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; Her immediate family also included Derek, Kathleen, Sarah, and Shana Maes. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday at Garcia's Mortuary (717 Stover SW). The Rosary of the Divine Mercy and Service of Christian Burial will begin at 9:30 a.m., Thursday at the Church of St. Therese (300 Mildred Ave NW). She will be laid to rest at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (Paseo Del Norte & Wyoming); a reception will follow at the home of Valentin and Priscilla Sais. Eloisa's family thanks her many friends, relatives and especially members of the Premier staff for the loving care, sympathy and kindness extended to Eloisa during her illness.
