John F. Marchak, 62, of Albuquerque, NM passed away, November 30, 2010. He was born in San Francisco, CA, on March 15 1948. John served honorably in the United States Army. He had a giving heart, eagerly offering his help to many a friend and family members when carpentry, bricklaying, and home improvement projects came up. John was an excellent cook, an avid gardener, and a fisherman. His greatest joy in life were his grandchildren who will miss their Papa. John is survived by his wife of 18 years, Lorna G. Marchak; daughters, Sonja Marchak Mayo of Michigan, Sabrina Marchak Lewis of Georgia; sons, Joseph T. Marchak of Virginia, and John J. Marchak of Michigan; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandsons. There will be a "Celebration of Life" at the Marchak home on a later date for friends and family.
