Jacob P. McCutcheon, 88, a Rio Rancho resident since 1972, died Friday, November 26, 2010. Mr. McCutcheon is survived by sisters, Kathryn Rippin and Gloria Schultz both of Johnstown, PA; several nieces and nephews; and a very dear friend and his caregiver, Ernestina Britton of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha McCutcheon; a brother, John McCutcheon; sisters, Yola Black, Frances Firth, Audrey Gabriel, Ruth Howard and Festa Young. Mr. McCutcheon was retired from the US Air Force as a MSGT after 31 years service. He was a WWII, Korea and Vietnam veteran. He was a member of AF & AM in Florida and attended Rio Rancho Lodge after moving to the area. He was also a member of Scottish Rite and Ballut Abyud Shrine Temple in Albuquerque. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 3, 2010 at French Westside. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery with full military honors.
