Maria (Sadie) Senaida Pacheco, 82 , a longtime resident of New Mexico went to be with the LORD on November 24, 2010. Sadie is survived by her husband of 61 years, Amadeo (Mayo) Pacheco, Jr.; children, Floyd Pacheco Sr. and wife, Estella, David Pacheco and wife, Jeanne, Daniel Pacheco and wife, Patrice, Karen Catania and husband, Pasquale; grandchildren, Anna, Floyd Jr., Miranda, Ryan, and David; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Collin and Mateo; sister, Amanda Sanchez and brother, Frank Lucero; and numerous relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by parents, Esequiel and Anne Lucero. As a young woman, Sadie worked for Javel Manufacturing in Las Vegas, NM as a parachute manufacturing foreman, afterward she resided in both Santa Fe and Los Alamos before moving to Albuquerque where she worked at Job Corps, and then retired from Albuquerque Public Schools, where she worked in the Central Kitchen. Sadie loved greenhouse plants and gardening. The family would like to give a special thanks to the administration and nursing staff of Best Care, Inc. (Cuesta Manor) for taking loving care of Sadie. Memorial service will be held on Monday, November 29, 2010, 10:00 a.m., at Cristo del Valle Presbyterian Church, 3907 Isleta Blvd. SW, Albuquerque, NM.
