George W. Bundrant, 91, born in Exeter, Virginia on March 27, 1919, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 in Albuquerque: father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. George is survived by his two sons, Pat and Tom; four grandchildren, Brenna Aschbacher, Lindsey Bundrant, Bryan Bundrant, and Abby Makarski; seven great-grandchildren; one sister; and one brother. He moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1938 and worked in the steel and building material business until his retirement. He was a veteran of WWII. George enjoyed growing tomatoes and always prided himself in having the first ripe tomato of the season. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Friends may visit French - University Location, Monday, November 29, 2010 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Services will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2010, 10:00 a.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, with interment following at Sunset Memorial Park.
