Marie K. Stang, 83, mother, grandma, sister, aunt and civitarian, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 10, 2010. She was a resident of Albuquerque since 1953, having been born in Sterling, CO. Marie was an avid gardener winning many awards and a volunteer for many community services. She has now joined her husband of 61 years, John E. Stang, in heaven along with three siblings and our Lord Jesus Christ. She is survived by sons Edward Stang and wife, Lita; David Stang and wife Deborah Dlabal; Thomas Stang; Robert Stang and wife Theresa; grandchildren Michael Stang, Amanda Stang, Samantha Stang, Robert Calderman and wife Lauren; seven siblings; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was a member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited Thursday, November 18, 2010, 6:30 p.m. at French Lomas Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, November 19, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Assumption, Lomas at Tennessee. Committal will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
