Carol Ann Exley, 66, a resident of Albuquerque for the past nine years, died on Saturday, October 23, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, the Rev. Charles R. Exley; her mother, Elaine Kilgore, of Lakewood, CO; her children, Karen Exley of Denver, CO; Joseph Exley and wife, Catherine, of New York, NY; granddaughter, Fiona Exley, of New York, NY; three sisters, Karen Buchanan of Littleton, CO, Lynn Tatman of Bloomington, IL, Kim Fleming of Roscoe, IL; and two brothers, Craig Kilgore of Lakewood, CO, and Mark Kilgore of Rockford, IL, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. Carol, who grew up in Rockford, IL, was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI, and a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority. Before moving to Albuquerque, she lived in Denver, CO for 25 years where she owned and operated two promotional agencies. Carol was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church. A memorial service, celebrating the life of Carol Exley will take place Sunday, October 31, 2010 at 4:00 p.m., at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 9100 Menaul Blvd., NE. Presiding over the worship service will be Senior Pastor Elizabeth Purdum. Memorial contributions may be made to the Carol Exley Memorial Fund at St. Luke.
