Charlotte Lowrey nee McClure Died October 16, 2010, in Santa Fe. She is survived by her loving partner and friend of over 30 years Lorraine Price; sons: Dan, Gray and Bob Lowrey, and their wives, Amanda Olsen and Daisy Garcia-Lowrey. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Daniel, Corey, Carlo, Bill and Katie, as well as her great grandchildren, Joey and Lorena. Widowed in 1970, Charlotte then took up permanent residence in New Mexico. A counselor and a pioneer in Reevaluation Co-Counseling, she led the RC movement in New Mexico until her passing. Charlotte remained steadfast in her beliefs - suppressing war, supporting immigrants, advocating for the rights of women and oppressed people here and throughout the world. Charlotte had hundreds of friends from all over the world, transcending cultural, ethnic and economic boundaries. Charlotte's absence will be felt for many years to come. Her family asks that, in lieu of flowers, well-wishers make a donation to the Heifer Project. The Memorial date is November 6, 2010. Time and place to be announced.
