Obituary for PODRAZA

Marjorie Josephine Clausner Podraza, 88, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM passed away October 15, 2010 after a long illness and now is at peace. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Adam Podraza and wife Violet of Deer Park, NY; many nieces and nephews. She was born in Stouffer, PA on June 30, 1922, daughter of Charles C. Clausner and Missouri Mitchell. She married her dancing partner, Walter Anthony Podraza, 64 years ago in Mt. Pleasant, PA. She was very proud of her volunteer work. She was an active member in the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, serving as treasurer for many years for the Altar and Rosary Society. She was very devoted to volunteering at the Meadowlark Senior Center helping people with their taxes. She was honored as the AARP Volunteer of the year in 2006. Marge was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held 4:00-7:00 p.m., followed by a Rosary, Thursday, October 21, 2010, Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Road Chapel, (located inside Vista Verde Memorial Park), 4310 Sara Road SE and Meadowlark Lane, Rio Rancho, NM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held, 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 22, 2010, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM.
