Eldon L. Banks, age 90, passed away on October 13, 2010 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born to Lynn and Cora in Marion County, Missouri. Eldon worked for Brown Construction Company as Vice President for over 30 years and then retired in 1978. He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. Eldon started his life in Missouri went to Oregon and ended up in New Mexico where he spent the rest of his days. He enjoyed reading, hiking, traveling, and bowling. Eldon is survived by his two daughters, Luann Banks of Albuquerque, NM and Anita Koster and husband, John of Las Vegas, NV; one sister, Corinne Wagner and husband, Don of Albuquerque, NM; three special nephews, Mike, Jeff and Tim Wagner, and two nieces. Eldon is preceded in death by his loving wife, Naomi, his parents and one sister, Eleanor Morrall. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 10:30 a.m., at French ~ Wyoming Chapel with co-officiants, Pastor Ryan Kelly and Pastor Terry Ash. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
