Gloria "Glo" Montoya, 55, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, born January 31, 1955 to Albert "Veto" and Mary Alice Montoya, passed away on October 12, 2010. She is survived by her daughter, Victoria Montoya; her mother; siblings, Anthony Montoya and wife, Connie, Therese Peralta and husband, John, Darlene Montoya and husband, Chris, Valerie Jaramillo and husband Damian, Kathy Montoya, and Andy Molina, and her former spouse LeRoy Montoya. Gloria was a lifelong Albuquerque resident, graduating from Valley High School in 1973. Gloria worked for the U.S. Government for over 30 years, spending most of her career with the United States Attorney's Office. Her dedication, loyalty and love for her job were admired by all. She always said her greatest accomplishment was being a mother and she devoted her life to being the best mother anyone could ever ask. Gloria's loving spirit and generous soul touched the lives of everyone she met. Her spirit will forever be carried in the hearts of those she touched. Cremation has taken place. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, October 18, 2010, 7:00 p.m., at St. Therese Catholic Church, 300 Mildred Ave. NW. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, October 19, 2010, 9:30 a.m., at St. Therese Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
