Elizabeth "Bette" M. McLean, 89, resident of Albuquerque, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Harry D. McLean; children, Sharon M. Cooper and husband, David, Barbara M. Rehnberg and husband, Luke, Alan Jon "AJ" McLean and wife, Cindy, Elaine M. Logan and husband, Vernon, Brian D. McLean and wife, Melissa, all of Albuquerque; six grandchildren, Eric, Jonathan, Dean, Alan Jon Jr., Ryan, and Kathryn; two great-grandchildren, Annalisa and Matthew; and sister-in-law, Janice M. Curtiss of Shelton, CT. Elizabeth was born in Shelton, CT on June 5, 1921 to Frank and Mary Markovics. She graduated from Shelton High School and later from Booth and Bayliss Business School in Bridgeport, CT. She was a resident of Southport, CT for 35 years before moving to Albuquerque in 1986. Bette was employed for 18 years at Citytrust in Bridgeport before retiring in 1985. She and her family are members of Sagebrush Community Church. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
