Fred. State Representative-Fred Luna, age 79, a life-long resident of Los Lunas, passed away at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, NM on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. A viewing will be held at San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas, at 12:30 p.m., on Sunday, October 17, 2010 with a rosary to be recited at 2:00 p.m. Representative Fred Luna will lie in state on Monday, October 18, 2010 at the New Mexico State Capital Rotunda in Santa Fe between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. A final visitation will be held at San Clemente Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m., on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., with Father, Doug Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at the San Clemente Catholic Cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations can be made in Fred's name to San Clemente Catholic Church, 244 Luna Ave., Los Lunas, NM 87031.
