Obituary for LUKE

Larry L. Luke passed away on 10/15/10, at age 69, in Albuquerque, NM. He was born into a large family and was raised in the small town of Thompson Falls, MT. He was involved in music and football during high school and went on to study music and education at University of Montana and Western Washington University. He was a teacher for many years in the greater Seattle area. After some career changes he returned to teaching as a professor at Assumption University in Bangkok, Thailand. He had a love for classical music, the outdoors, and travel. He spent ten years traveling southeast Asia before coming back to Albuquerque, NM for cancer treatment the last two years of his life. He was a very caring and compassionate man who was known for his joking attitude. He is survived by his two sons, Jason Luke of San Diego, CA, and Darren Luke of Albuquerque, NM; his three grandchildren; and many friends and loved ones around the world.
