Henry Duran passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the age of 87. Henry was a veteran and a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Duran; and grandson, Brian. He is survived by his son, LeRoy Metzgar; grandchildren, Lorraine, Richard, Roy, Iris, and Alicia; great-grandchildren, Marisol, Andrea, Kyle, Savanah, Brandon, Lauren, Justin, and Jason; great-grandchild, Damian, his brothers, Joe Lody Duran, Onofre Duran and wife Mary Ann; sister, Teresa Davis; as well as other family and friends who loved and will miss him. He was the best grandfather in the world. Services will be held at Promise Community Church, 3808 Atrisco, NW on Tuesday, October 19, 2010. A Viewing will be held at 9:00 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 with Burial to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
