Obituary for WIENCZKOWSKI

Rosemary E. Wienczkowski, 90, passed away October 7, 2010. She was born on December 31, 1919 in Chicago, Ill. She has been a resident of Alb. since 1954. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Elizabeth Jausly; her husband Edward; her son James; and grandson Michael Pounders. She is survived by her beloved brother, James Jausly and wife Evelyn of Grand Rapids, MI; step-sister, Susan Bertacini Bell of San Jose, Calif.; two daughters, Elizabeth Martinez and husband Fred of Rio Rancho and Kathleen Pounders and husband Kenneth of Thornton, CO; She is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Upon graduation from High School she attended nursing school at Mother Cabrini Hospital in Chicago. Rosemary was a very talented woman with many hobbies including sewing, crocheting, expert crossword puzzles and was an excellent Bridge and Chess player. Her favorite pastime in her later years was reading. Rosemary was a resident of Princeton Place Nursing Home since 2003 and the family would like to thank all who cared for her during that time for the excellent care and attention she received. A special thanks to Anna Ware for her friendship and loving care she gave Rosemary. Rosemary was a very generous and loving person and will be missed by all. She requested no services be held and will be interred along side her husband at a later dated at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
