Palmyra Tomei Puccetti, known by her family and friends as Pal, passed away quietly in her sleep, October 1, 2010. She had just turned 92. A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, Pal was preceded in death by her parents, Leonello and Ida, both Italian immigrants; her sister Olympia; and her two brothers, Eugene and Jules. She has left behind her niece, Melida; her niece Suzy; and her nephew, Joe, all of Albuquerque; as well as a nephew Gene and his two daughters; and a niece Leonore and her three children; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Pal was a devout Catholic and an active parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima for many years. Her compassion extended to many friends until she was no longer able to care for herself. Her smile and twinkling eyes will be missed by those who loved her. A Rosary and Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd, Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 1:00 p.m.. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
