Joseph C. Gonzales, 80, passed away peacefully at Lovelace Hospice on September 27, 2010 after battling several illnesses over the years. He was born November 27, 1929 in Tucumcari, NM to Lorenzo Gonzales and his wife, Pilar Madrid. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dolores Anne Sandoval; and his second wife, Elizabeth Gonzales; He was also preceded in death by father and mother; his brothers, Augustin and Orlando Gonzales. He is survived by son Joseph L. Gonzales and his wife Mary Kay from Cheyenne, WY; his son Martin Gonzales, and Marilyn from Albuquerque, NM; He is also survived by three granddaughters, April, Jaclyn, and Jennifer; and four great-grandchildren Jade, Kailey, Jenna and Gage; He is also survived by his sister Celia De La O and her husband Frank from Arleta, CA; and his brother Edmund Gonzales and his wife Ann from Alexandria, LA; and sisters-in-law Julia Wilson and Sophie; and many nieces and nephews. He retired from Greyhound Bus Lines after 35 years. He enjoyed traveling and watching old western movies. A Rosary will be held on Friday, October 1, 2010 at 4:00 p.m., at Salazar and Sons Mortuary.
