Charles William Edwards, an 81-year-old resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2010. Charles was born on June 17, 1929 in Opelika, Alabama. Surviving him is his wife of 58 years, Billye Edwards; his daughter, Susan Harbison and her husband, Richard; his son, Charles Edwards Jr. and his wife, Norma; grandchildren, Marc Harbison and Michael Harbison; three great-grandchildren; and brother, Robert Edwards. Charles served in the United States Air Force for 30 years, most notably during the Korean War. He also had a career at BDM before permanently retiring. The family would like to thank Tender Heart Assisted Living and VistaCare Hospice for their kind and compassionate care during the final weeks of Charles's life.
