Sinforosa Ruiz Montoya passed away on Sept 14,2010. She was born Aug 5,1914 in Torreon, NM and was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Marcario Montoya. She is survived by her children, Prospero Montoya, Gilbert Montoya, Henry Montoya and wife Louise, Lourdes Garcia and husband Willie, Pauline Garcia, Rita Eberting and husband Darrell; and Mike Martinez Jr., who she raised, and wife, Pat. Sinforosa left a legacy of 23 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 4:00 p.m., at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church and Catholic burial on Monday morning at 9:00 a.m. at the same location. Pallbearers: Ray Montoya, Donald Montoya, Dominick Montoya,Willie Garcia Jr, Dennis Garcia, Daniel Dean; and Honorary pallbearer David Eberting.
