Helen Sider, a resident of Albuquerque since 1993, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2010, after a long illness. She is survived by her loving husband, Norman. Helen was a life-time member of Hadassah and a patron member of The Jewish War Veterans. Both she and Norman were Treasurers of the Jewish Community Friendship Club for 13 years. Helen was a member of the Bear Canyon Senior Center, where she loved to play Shanghai Rummy. She also loved to play the penny slot machines at the casino. Cremation has taken place. No services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Helen's name to Congregation B'nai Israel, 4401 Indian School Road NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
