Harriet Joan Salton (Denby): Born December 19, 1927, passed away Wednesday evening August 25, 2010 at the age of 82. Harriet will be dearly missed by her loving husband Robert Salton, and family. Harriet leaves behind two sons, James Gardner of Nutley, New Jersey and Thomas Gardner of Chandler Arizona. Harriet was a longtime resident of Albuquerque and loved the beautiful American southwest. Harriet was a graduate of Penn State University, a wonderful mother, beautiful wife, and an accomplished chef and a green thumb gardener. Harriet was a friend to all animals, but her pet roadrunners, kitty's, and the local wild birds will truly miss her. Harriett's strength, great sense of humor, quick wit, and passion for life were an inspiration to us all. Harriet, we love you dearly and will miss you every day of our lives. The memorial service celebrating Harriet's life will be held at Albuquerque Unitarian Church, 3701 Carlisle Boulevard NE, Albuquerque Saturday September 4th at 10 a.m.
