Yvonne Pinard, born June 2, 1916, returned to her Heavenly Father early in the morning of Wednesday, August 18, 2010 while she slept peacefully. She is now in the company of her beloved husband, Pierre Pinard who preceded her in death. Yvonne was also preceded in death by four brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Theresa and son-in-law, Dr. Allen Gelinas; four grandsons, Mike, Claude, Marc, and Joel. She was blessed with 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1502 Sara Rd, Rio Rancho 87124 on Saturday, August 28, 2010. The Divine Mercy Chaplet will be prayed at 10:30 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. She will be interred next to her husband in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada at a later date. She was a lovely, classy lady who loved life and her big family.
