Kay Ward, age 71, passed away on August 21, 2010 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born to Raymond and Catherine Weighner in Praire du Chien, WI. Kay will always be remembered for the great love she gave to her family. Her most precious reward was the love of her family. That love will carry on and she will never be forgotten. Kay is survived by her husband, Robert Ward; two children, Robert O'Brien Ward and wife, Connie and Catherine Maria Ward; two step-children, Sherry Solomon and husband, Deen and Gary Cox ; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Kay is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. Kay was preceded in death by step-son, Shayne Ward and her special sister, Jane McKillip. The Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at French Mortuary ~ Wyoming Blvd. Chapel at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 10:00a.m. at John XXIII Catholic Community with Father Charles Dougherty as the Celebrant. Friends may visit on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 from 6:00p.m.until 7:00 p.m. at French-Wyoming. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the D.A.V. of Albuquerque, P.O.
