Helene Paul, age 73, of Albuquerque, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, August 22, 2010. A native of New Jersey, she and her family moved to Albuquerque in 1976. Helene loved her Lord and her church where she was a great prayer warrior. She was born Jewish, and her conversion to Christianity allowed her to blend her two faiths together. Helene was preceded in death by her husband, William F. "Bill" Paul; parents, Henry and Rose Berlinsky; and grandsons, Scott and Jason Arvidson. She is survived by partner and caregiver, Howard Novich; daughters, Denise Arvidson and husband Eddie; Sherry Hicks and husband Rob; granddaughters, Rosalyn and Jaime Pounders; sister, Marsha Sachais; and brother, Lee Berlinsky. A funeral service and celebration of Helene's life will be Friday, August 27, 2010, at 1:00 p.m., at Glory Christian Fellowship, 2417 Wyoming Blvd. NE with Pastors Joe Cangiolosi and David Wintermute officiating.
