Alfonso "Pop" Maestas, Jr. passed away August 21, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dolores; daughters: Jeanette "Yvonne" Sanchez and husband, Leroy Gonzales; Veronica Maestas-Felmlee and husband, Brian; four grandchildren: Joseph Sanchez, Antoinette Sanchez, Alicia Hernandez, Brianna Felmlee; and two great-grandchildren and one due in February; sisters: Josephine Rosenquist, Alice Sanchez, Mary Dora Sandoval and Vickie Chavez and husband, Paul. Alfonso's Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary at Holy Ghost Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church followed by Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brian Felmlee, Joseph Sanchez, Leroy Gonzales, Mike Hernandez, Joe Ponce, and Jesse Rhodes; Honorary pallbearers will be Jon Kulinna, Dean Cordova, Fred Pena, and Gary Barreras.
