Valerie S. Aragon, 47, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on August 20, 2010. Valerie is survived by her children, Felicia Chavez and husband, Chris, and Michael Aguilar III; her granddaughter, Jaeda Chavez; her mother, Vayola Aragon; her father, Joe L Aragon and wife, Josefita; her brother, Leroy Aragon and wife, Margie; her sisters, Peggie Salazar, Jodene Aragon-Zamora and husband, Marty, Alexis Escudero and husband, Anthony, Bibiana Delgado; the father of her daughter, David Gutierrez; the father of her son, Michael Aguilar Jr.; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, August 22, 2010 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 3:00 p.m. by Deacon Juan and Mrs. Clorinda Lucero. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 23, 2010 at St. Edwin Catholic Church, 2105 Barcelona SW at 11:00 a.m., Father Bill Sanchez, presider. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Salazar, Joe Salazar, Leroy Aragon Jr., Anthony Escudero, Michael Montoya, and Chris Chavez.
