Rita Sigala-Gomez, 51, a resident of Denver, CO and former resident of Albuquerque passed away on August 4, 2010, she will be missed dealry by all her family. Rita is survived by her husband, Anthony Gomez; her daughter, Cynthia Butler and husband, David; her mother, Mrs. Rosa Sigala; her sisters and brothers, Virginia Sigala, Raymond Sigala and wife, Renee, Filiberto Sigala and wife, Valerie, Roger Sigala and wife, Martha, Frances Munoz and husband, Eulogio, Alfred Sigala and wife, Maria, Benjamin Sigala and Christina Mosier, and Shawn Sigala and wife, Michelle; her four grandchildren, who were the light of her life, Jesse Butler, Naomi Butler, Victoria Butler and Janessa Gomez; her stepsons, Anthony Gomez, Mario Gomez and wife, Nancy, and Jonathan Gomez; many Godchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Rita was preceded in death by her father, Filiberto Sigala; and her niece, Lynette Tafoya. Rita was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 10, 2010, at Santuario de San Martin Catholic Church, 8321 Camino San Martin SW, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m., by Gabriella Nieto. Mass of Christian Burial will follow the Rosary at 10:00 a..m., Father Leo, presider. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her brothers.
