Lorraine D "Lori" McCory, 76, passed away August 8, 2010 after a lengthy illness. Born in Quimby, Iowa, she met and married her husband of 53 years, Ron, in Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by her children, Rhonda Ferris and husband Terry of Stafford, Virginia, Michael McCory and wife Tracy of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Jason and Alaina both of Denver, Sarah of Albuquerque, Jill and husband Steve of Las Vegas, NV, and Joe, also of Las Vegas; three great grandchildren Kylie, Trevor and Katlyn. Lori is also survived by her sisters, Leona and Lola; and brother Leon; and many other family and friends. Mrs. McCory was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Ruth Struve, brother LeRoy and sister Lavone. She was an avid seamstress and bowler, loved her family and will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be Wednesday, 10:00 am, August 11, 2010 at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd NE.
