Felix Loyola Tafoya, born on April 17, 1938 in Corrales, NM, most recently a resident of Albuquerque, NM has completed his earthly journey on Friday, July 30, 2010. Felix was born to the late Victor and Margarita Tafoya. He was preceded in death by his sister, Stella Lucero. He leaves behind his three children, Jason and Jamie Tafoya from California, Madeline M. and David Carruthers, and Felix Jr. and Thelia Tafoya; five grandchildren, Angela, Anthony, Mia, Mario, and Alison; seven sisters, Rose Gutierrez of Nevada, Mary Lou of Corrales, NM, Della Delgado, Clara Vargas, Frances Trujillo, Virginia and Ramon Rodriguez, and Viola Garcia, all from Albuquerque; five brothers, Agapito and Dolores, Eugene and Angie, Alfonso, Joe Henry and Angela Tafoya, and James; as well as several nephews, nieces, and friends who loved and will miss him. A Memorial Service will be held at Calvary of Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna, NE on Monday, August 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Corrales Cemetery.
