Obituary for KAZ

Russell Scott Kaz, 54, a resident of Albuquerque since 2006, died Thursday, June 24, 2010. He is survived by his companion, Glenna Giboney of Albuquerque; parents, Richard and Anita Kaz of San Diego, CA; daughters, Alexis Kaz of Bakersfield, CA, Colleen Gaskill and her husband of Napavine, WA and Jodi Conway of Olympia, WA; grandchildren, Sophia and Nolan Gaskill of Napavine, WA; brothers, Rick Kaz of Los Angeles, CA and Chris Kaz of Mission Viejo, CA; nieces, and friends. Russ was born in Encino, CA and raised in Woodland Hills, CA. After graduating from Taft High School in Woodland Hills, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He then studied Electronics at Pierce Community College in Woodland Hills, Fire Science at Solano Community College in Fairfield, CA, and Emergency Medical Science at Tacoma Community College, Tacoma, WA. He also earned several certifications in the field of hemodialysis and has been working in that field for more than 25 years. He most recently worked as a Clinical Hemodialysis Technician for Fresenius Medical Care in Albuquerque. Russ enjoyed camping, photography and 4-wheeling adventures and was a member of the New Mexico 4-Wheelers club. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating.
