Paul J. Daily, 81, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, July 23, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jean Dammarell Daily; sons, Mark and wife Catherine of Hagerman, ID and Michael James and wife Leslie of Thousand Oaks, CA; grandchildren, Logan, Brian, Ashley, Daniel, Katlyn, Teresa, and Sean; and brother, Richard Daily of Lewiston, ID. Paul was born in Winchester, ID to Ted and Annabelle Daily. He retired from the US Air Force as a Colonel, after a distinguished career as a Research Scientist and pilot. After retiring in 1978, Paul taught Laser Electro-Optics at Albuquerque TVI. He was a member of the Open Space of Albuquerque volunteers for 15 years, receiving the Albuquerque Volunteer of the Year Award. A graveside Memorial Service will be held for Paul at a later date at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Boise.
