Steven Alan Jackson, 63, a resident of Rio Rancho, peacefully passed away at his home on Thursday, July 15, 2010. He is survived by his loving wife, Diana; mother, Jean Jackson of New Braunfels, TX; sisters-in-law, Judy Duncan and husband, James, and Melissa Bishop and husband, Ron, all of Mount Belvieu, TX; four nephews; seven nieces; a host of extended family members; and a wide circle of dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Jackson and Diana's parents, Bob and Betty Blair. Steve was a graduate of Rice University. He was a real estate developer and entrepreneur. Steve had a passion for life which included a variety of interests. Friends and family are invited to attend a reception at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Fellowship Hall, First United Methodist Church. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church, 4th & Lead SW, at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, July 21, 2010.
